Anang Uday Singh Deo, born on 11 November 1945, is a politician from Odisha. Educated at the Doon School, Dehradun, and La Martiniere College, Lucknow, he is a former member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly and represented the Balangir constituency. He has also represented the State of Odisha in the Rajya Sabha. His father, His Highness Maharaja Rajendra Narayan Singh Deo, was the Maharaja of Patna and served as both a Member of the Legislative Assembly, Parliament of India, as well as the Chief Minister of Odisha in what is remembered as one of the most stable periods in the history of turbulent Odia politics.
