Dr Kafeel Khan is a child specialist, known for his role during the 2017 B.R.D. Hospital tragedy in Gorakhpur.He was cleared of medical negligence by courts. An author and health-rights activist, he founded Mission Smile Foundation. He also leads the nationwide Doctors on Road and conducts free medical camps and campaigns for Health For All. Dr Khan currently works as a professor of paediatrics in a medical college in southern India.
