Behind every prodigy is a story of obsession, sacrifice and genius.
India is in the middle of a chess revolution. Once a land of lone geniuses, it now produces a dynasty of prodigies who rule the 64 squares. At the forefront are the ‘Fab Four’ – four brilliant youngsters winning Olympiad golds, global tournaments and global fans.
But genius alone doesn’t make champions. Behind each prodigy is a network of parents, coaches and trainers – and years of sacrifice and obsession. Missed birthdays, sleepless nights and relentless discipline define their pursuit of perfection.
The Price of Genius pulls back the curtain on India’s chess boom, revealing what it takes to turn raw talent into lasting greatness.
Beyond the medals and glamour lies a story of grit, risk and the real cost of brilliance.
